What a corporate charter is good for

A private yacht does three things an event room cannot: it fixes the guest list, it removes every other conversation in the room, and it gives people a reason to stand up and talk to someone they do not sit next to. That makes it work for client entertaining, a team offsite, a product handover, an end-of-quarter dinner or a partner visit — anything where you want twenty people in one place with no background noise and no table turnover.

You board in the Dubai Marina / Dubai Harbour area. The route passes the Marina towers, Bluewaters Island with Ain Dubai, the JBR beachfront and, on longer charters, the Palm and the Burj Al Arab — which is also the answer to "what do we do with visiting colleagues for three hours".

Boat Party Dubai plans and manages the event end to end and works with licensed yacht operators in that area. We are a brand of Prestige Voyage Tourism L.L.C, a tour operator licensed by Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism under licence 1573075; the licence number is verifiable in the public DET register, which is usually the first thing a procurement team asks for.

Group sizes and the yachts that take them

There are 13 yachts, from 40 to 110 feet, and the largest takes up to 75 guests. For a group of twenty, ten of them fit. What separates them for corporate use is less the length than the layout: a dining saloon with one long table seats a group that needs to hear one person speak, while a catamaran's wide lounge deck suits a standing reception where people circulate.

Enter the headcount first and the planner shows only the yachts that take it, cheapest first. If the final number is still moving — as it usually is two weeks out — book for the number you are confident of and tell us the likely ceiling; moving up a size is normally possible while the date is open.

What it costs, and what finance will ask

Charters are priced per hour, per yacht. For a group of twenty the lowest applicable rate is AED 1,000 per hour, so a two-hour charter starts at AED 2,000 (≈ €475). Smaller groups reach the fleet's lowest rate of AED 700 per hour, or AED 1,400 for two hours. The rate does not change with headcount — only the yacht and the hours do.

Two points for the approval file. First, no VAT is added: the company is not VAT-registered. Second, the price shown on this site is an estimate until we have checked the date with the operator and confirmed it in writing — that written confirmation is what you attach to a purchase order, and a card payment link adds a 5% processing fee. No payment is taken on this website.

Catering and the practical side

Catering is per guest or per platter and must be pre-ordered. The Hotdogs & Burgers Menu is AED 135 per guest, the Regular BBQ Menu AED 210 and the Veggie Menu AED 170; fixed-price platters are charcuterie AED 550, fruit AED 220 and sushi AED 600. The cooked menus depend on the yacht having a suitable setup, which we confirm with the operator rather than assume.

For a product launch or a team photograph, a photographer is AED 800 per hour and a videographer AED 1,050 per hour. Decoration is available but rarely what a corporate group wants; light-up letters are AED 280 if you need branding on deck. Water activities are daylight-only and are not offered on a charter starting at 18:00 or later — worth knowing before you promise jet skis to a visiting team arriving on an evening flight.

Timing around a working day

Charters start between 09:00 and 20:00 and are alongside again by 23:00. The minimum is 2 hours, and 3 hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A 17:00 departure gives a team the sunset and gets everyone back before the evening is gone; a 12:00 departure works for a client lunch that has to end at a known time. Build in fifteen minutes before departure for people arriving separately — the yacht leaves on the hour it is booked for.

Two date ranges are priced on request rather than at the standard rate: 31 December, and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend of 3–6 December 2026.

What is included, and what is not

Every charter includes water, soft drinks, tea & coffee, ice, crew and fuel. Life jackets are on board. Departures are from the Dubai Marina / Dubai Harbour area, with the exact meeting point confirmed with the booking and parking details sent with the confirmation — send both to your guest list rather than a pier name, because the pier is set per booking.

Not included: food and beverages beyond the above, photography, water activities, and anything your team brings. Every guest needs a valid Emirates ID or an original passport — copies are not accepted. No shoes on board, which is worth putting in the invitation when the dress code is business.

Approval, deposit and cancellation

A request is not a booking. We check the date with the operator and confirm availability in writing; that confirmation carries the final figure for your approval chain. A 50% deposit then secures the date, with the balance due 48 hours before departure. A card payment link carries a 5% processing fee; a bank transfer costs nothing from our side, which is usually the simpler route for a company.

Free cancellation or a date change up to 96 hours (4 days) before departure, refunded in full within 7 business days — the window to know about if your attendee count depends on a flight. Between 96 and 48 hours, 50% of the charter is charged and catering already ordered is not refundable. Inside 48 hours or a no-show, no refund. If the coast guard issues no sailing permit, decided by 09:00 on the day, you choose a full refund or a free reschedule.

Corporate booking questions

Can we get an invoice and a written quote before approval?
Yes — Prestige Voyage Tourism L.L.C issues an invoice; no VAT is shown as the company is not VAT-registered. The written confirmation we send after the availability check carries the figure, the yacht, the date and the hours.
Can we hold a date while budget is approved?
Only a deposit holds a date. Until then the date is available to anyone else asking for it, which matters on weekends.
Is the yacht exclusive to our group?
Yes. You book the whole yacht; besides your guests, only the crew is aboard.
Can we run a presentation on board?
A short address works — a yacht at anchor is quiet enough. Screens and microphones are not standard equipment, so ask in the request and we will check what the specific yacht has.
What happens if the weather turns?
The coast guard decides by 09:00 on the day. No permit means a full refund or a free reschedule. With a permit and a rough sea, the captain may keep the route to sheltered water; that is not grounds for cancellation.
How many can we actually bring?
Up to 75 on the largest yacht. Ten of the thirteen take twenty or more. Give us the real number and the list adjusts to it.
